What is your role at Hoffman Kelly, and how long have you been a part of the team?
Accountant. I have been at the firm for 1 and half years. I originally hail from Chinchilla, a small town on the Western Downs, but went to school in Toowoomba and moved to Brisbane a few years ago.
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Borat, never fails to make me laugh and I still quote the movie at least once a week.
Who is your childhood inspiration?
As a kid I wanted to be a cricketer, so probably Mike Hussey, I used to watch him bat all the time. Also, my Dad was a very big inspiration to me as a child, and still is.
What song never fails to make you sing your heart out in the car?
Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi, always sing it at karaoke.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Helping clients achieve great tax outcomes by the quality of our work, and also Uno at lunch.
Who is your favourite author/book?
Happiest Man on Earth by Eddie Jaku, great story by a holocaust survivor.
What did you want to be when you were 6?
A cricketer – loved the sport growing up and always dreamt of having a baggy green.
What’s been your best memory at HK?
End of Financial Year party last year, was still quite new at that stage, so was good to meet everyone in a social setting.
Freaky Friday: If you could switch bodies for a week with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Lebron James, he is so big and strong. He’s also quite handsome.
Do you have a hidden talent?
Not particularly, can cook some nice tacos I guess
