What is your role at Hoffman Kelly, and how long have you been a part of the team?
Hi! I’m Magali but everyone calls me Maggie. I’m proudly made in Argentina but chose Brisbane to be my forever home. You’ll probably notice my accent and mispronunciation here and there.
I landed in HK a year and a half ago and I work as an accountant in East Team. I work closely with Matt and Elena. Come say hi! I’m always keen to meet new people and a good chat 🙂
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Parent Trap
Who is your childhood inspiration?
Mom, always Mom.
The strongest woman I’ve ever seen in every sense. Very smart and bold. I aim to be at least a little of who she is.
What song never fails to make you sing your heart out in the car?
Gasolina – Daddy Yankee, a classic of reggaeton.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Meeting our clients face to face. It is always great to put a face behind the task/job. It reminds me of the real purpose: helping people with their business and make their life easier.
Who is your favourite author/book?
J.K Rowling – Harry Potter (I kind of love the movies more than the books)
Florencia Bonelli – All of her books/Series
What did you want to be when you were 6?
A lawyer – I ended up being one but moved to accounting later on.
What’s been your best memory at HK?
It’s hard to pick one good memory because there are plenty! But if I must choose, I will say last Christmas lunch at the office was a lot of fun! Drinks, good music and even dancing!
Freaky Friday: If you could switch bodies for a week with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Lionel Messi – just imagine being so talented and make people so happy.
Do you have a hidden talent?
Not really hidden but, dancing is my jam – No one can resist when my hips are moving
