The first round of JobKeeper ends on 27 September, and JobKeeper 2.0 commences on 28 September.  

The second round has different eligibility requirements for employers, different eligible employees , and different rates of payments than the original scheme.

If you are an employer who wishes to continue receiving JobKeeper payments you need to:

  1. Assess your eligibility;
  2. Assess which employees / business owners are eligible to participate; and
  3. Determine the rate of support for each eligible person.

Please find below a link to the guide which is aimed to assist, however we recommend you contact your accountant to discuss whether you might be eligible and to ensure you get it right.  The rules are complex and the ATO is releasing material to clarify aspects of the scheme on a daily basis.
