In August 2023, Saqeb joined the Hoffman Kelly team as one of our fantastic accountants. We took the opportunity to sit down with Saqeb and learn about his interests outside of the office.
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Dark Knight Rises.
Who is your inspiration?
My source of inspiration lies in my mum and dad. As I age, I increasingly recognise the immense dedication and hard work they have invested in providing for my siblings and me.
What song never fails to make you sing your heart out in the car?
Gorakh Dhanda – Nescafe Basement.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Meeting clients and helping them sort out their compliance work.
Who is your favourite author/book?
J.K Rowling – Harry Potter series.
What did you want to be when you were 6?
A pilot.
What’s been your best memory at HK?
Team Building Day was a fun and memorable experience.
Freaky Friday: If you could switch bodies for a week with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A person travelling in First Class for 14 hours on a non-stop flight.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I can balance random stuff on my head. I have gone as far as balancing folding stairs on my forehead.
